This is the bad example where i have the single slabs selected i cant see a thing!
So its pretty simple really can i have the faded color when slabs are selected.
You constantly select the slabs by accident and then you have to find a wall or some floors to get it less white.
and i think i done this 2000 times now its pretty annoying!
Hmm, I think it’s only when you hover a selected slab part.
I stuck two separated slabs on a house, and the one that is not selected gets the fading gray when I hover over it.
The selected one gets that blinding white when I hover over it.
This is only noticeable with low graphic settings. In any case, it might be a bug
In higher settings it doesn’t even show a white/gray border for the selected slab (but it does for the other parts).
I can see that it can be annoying for people that has to play with graphic settings at minimum, since it’s quite blinding and you can’t see well what you’re doing.
When in building mode [designer mode] the item Im working on appears an eye blinding bright white. I have refreshed the screen. Exited all programs, rebooted PC completely and even reinstalled Stonehearth. I have ran without mods and with mods; same results.
Steps to reproduce:
Load Stonehearth
Go into designer/build mode & build something.
Exit to click on a traveler message or any other constant game message
Go back into designer/build mode; click on current item your working on
Expected Results:
Grid Lines with item or structure your building with the block color tones you expect to see in-game
Actual Results:
BRIGHT BLINDING WHITE GLARE - CANT SEE ANYTHING!
Notes:
BRIGHT BLINDING WHITE GLARE - CANT SEE ANYTHING!
There’s a little bit of a work-around for it until it’s fixed (or at least it works for me). If it is solid white like that when you hover your mouse, click on empty terrain near the building then hover again. It still lights up but not nearly as much so you can edit easier.
