I just wanted to say that this little reminder/“update” is lovely. I actually clicked these forums with the full intent to whine ineffectually about there being yet another DT I was looking for that I realized too late wasn’t gonna happen. But then I saw that there was an official post today anyway, and even though it’s something tiny, now I’m not whiny, now I’m happy. Have another excellent week, Radiant. Thank you for the post, Stephanie; looking forward to the next DT.

Now you mention it, I think that is really a good idea. I often have the feeling of ‘Hey, I’ve got to check the new notification I have’, only to realise it is actually the persistent township quest. It kind of deafeats the purpose of the number at the notifications bar when there is always a number present. seeing if there is a new notification should be easier than having to calculate the difference between how many there should be and how many there are.
Keep the bug as a timed event, just to freak the hell out of everyone one day of the year
