Ok, this seems weird but I’ve watched the sequence twice.
A worker runs out looking like they are going to run into the woods. I have had no jobs in that part of the world in more than two days. But the worker runs to a spot where a tree was felled days ago.
Then the worker turns around and runs back to the stockpile in the picture below. Picks up an item from that stockpile and drops it in the stockpile shown by the arrow.
This has happened twice with two different villagers in less than a two minute interval.
It happened a third time but this time the worker picked up and dropped the item in the same stockpile (my big stockpile).
Pathfinding glitches?
