Summary:
Hearthlings aren’t doing anything, to the point of starving themselves. They will chat with each other, but that’s the extent of it. Farmers won’t farm, new objects won’t get placed, etc.

Thanks for the savefile!
They went to eat after I loaded it, but it’s true that the savefile has a huge Lua usage even though you’re in early game (only 8 hearthlings) and even if I let it play at normal speed. I wonder if it’s the water again 
I’ll poke devs to take a look at it.
