Port of Pirates Bay .V2 (SPOILERS)

??? (What’s ‘ABR’??)

Want me to host it somewhere else? As a ‘.smod’ or another format?

… just dont start it via steam? make an own icon to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\stonehearth.exe and now you can have multiple windows/ clients^^

you could if you want

Let me know if this works… again, I don’t want it to break your game - you seem to have put in many real-world-hours of digging

All right, Dled, where do i put it, and how do use it ingame lol

  1. Backup your save game! (you can copy the /steam/steamapps/common/Stonehearth/saved_games/ folder to somewhere safe)
  2. Move sails.smod to your /steam/steamapps/common/Stonehearth/mods/ folder
  3. Build carpenter’s workbench
  4. Build sails (Small / Medium / Large… each costs 1 wood) - these are meant to be stacked to make a full height sail

It probably won’t work in your current game. I think it’ll need you to start a new one for any of the recipes show up. If it doesn’t, I guess we’ll see them in Ports of Pirates Bay V3!

Yeah doesn’t work in current game. But so you can see them in world, I made a new game real quick. So when new build comes back out. yeah you will see them in action in Ports of Pirates bay V3

Second Ship up, a Schooner fishing boat

A better shot with docks and both boats.

Now on to third boat and thinking light house on island

Amazing, it encouraged me to try to build something creative once again. Super cool! Also, as @Newf said, ability to make cities on water (similar to the Esgaroth from Hobbit) needs to happen (hopefully in vanilla version of SH, and if not - in form of mod). How amazing would be village on the water?

Okay Flowing the water in as a test, finish everything I wanted to build over there area. Saved before hand, but gonna take awhile while it fills.

Hey, @micheal_handy76_mh, I updated the sails mod with more goodies:

Apologies to any artillery experts out there. I just tossed some random words in the description.
Also, it’s surprisingly hard to make tapered cylinders with blocks
There’s a bit of an Easter egg in there as well…

Ty, just DLed it, when PoPB .V3 comes.

Also do you know if the cannons fit out of the Wooden Diamond Window, or do they sit back and bit lower?

You mean the wheels? If your having trouble always follow the circle run in voxel base building.

I haven’t tested the cannons with windows - I made them to be placed on the deck, but you can try it out. They might fit through a 1 or 2-cube tall hole

What I meant by it being hard was in relation to shaping the barrel. It looks very square, any way you carve it. I wonder how Tom’s gonna tackle them, design-wise, when the Pirates stuff is being created

Enjoy!

Simple; there’re no round shapes in SH. :stuck_out_tongue:
I imagine he’ll just make them square and leave it at that.
