If you plan out a road beyond the edge of the map, Hearthlings will build it. Someone had mentioned this oddity on the Steam forums and I tested it out. Sure enough there they go!
And water falls outside too (I’ve not tested yet with default biomes, though):
Lol, that is so cool! But it only happens with water that is moving, the water that started at the border will not fall, only the part where we dig.
I liked it:
Yes, I did that by digging
If you dont stop me eventually i will start building my own landscape and expand in to the void!! For the emperor of hearthkind!
See This is the sort of madness that these bugs lead to. Now I’m wondering if you destroy the road, if it’ll make it into new land.
Edit: Ok I double checked building destruction and no, it doesn’t create new land off the edge at least.
Hmm but definitely someone reported the ability to build outside the edge before…
And probably several times, and told that either it should not be possible, or it should not be buggy.
Well, I’m happy that the water isn’t causing memory issues, at least
It might be fine for the moment, people used to build airships outside the edge…
Tell me seed Please 0.0
I don’t know the seed. I didn’t checked and didn’t saved. It is from the Archipelago Biome, using tiny generation (a modification we can do to create small worlds)
