Pets that can be trained through different skills on a skill tree. Pets have a skill tree to be more of a house pet, or a companion that will help attack enemies. You can make a pet housing area where footmen can go find a pet and then bond with it.
This is my first suggestion, love this game

I believe a beastmaster / animal trainer class was promised in the kickstarter, so look out

Yes if you check your stonehearth.smod you will notice that there is an animal trainer job folder. This is the place holder for when they finally implement it. From the small .json file it seems that it will be a promotion from the shepherd. But this may change as things develop.
