Soooo, I have a save from before alpha 24, which I really liked because it was the only town where I actually completed the town progression quest, old hearths and all. I tried to load it up just to see what happens. This is the result.
They changed the faces to be animated so the old faces are gone. New heathlings to town should have faces IIRC. There’s no way to fix the old ones. Go save your buildings as templates and write down the world seed though if you want to rebuild ;).
I figured as much regarding the eyes, but it’s funny to me nonetheless. I’ll make another town eventually…
Yeah it seems kind of cool but seeing it it looks super creepy LOL.
