@Froggy Amazing Mod! I am so sure the owners of StoneHearth are gonna ask for your permission to implement this into the game :smiley: I mean its so freaking awesome lol!

I have I guess a bug report! I noticed that the Weaver will pick up the Wheat and make it into Thread! When I figure out how to take Screenshots I will show you :stuck_out_tongue:

if you’re playing the Steam client, I believe you can use F12 to take screenshots… :+1:

@Cladox I’ll take a look at the bug you’ve reported and see if I can replicate it. If I can, there’ll be a fix incoming soonish. Pretty much everything I have implemented has been announced by the team, I just implemented it earlier because I wanted to learn how to mod and I am impatient when it comes to certain features :smiley:

I’ve learned that anything I can do, Radiant can do better! I personally can’t wait to see TR’s implementation of the cook and ‘dyes’/colour selector.

Edit: Yeah, it’s obvious. Wheat is listed as a fibre resource which is used to create thread. I’ll strip it out on the next update.

@Froggy You are an amazing Modder! I do love this Mod, and Yeah I was looking at my Weaver grab Wheat and make it into Thread and I was like Wait a minute, thats not right :stuck_out_tongue:

quick question, how hard is it to mod this game?
ive made a couple of games, so the coding should be fine,
but do I have to learn a whole new world of lingo to be able to make something?

One of the amazing things about this gem of a game is how easy it is to mod.I had no prior experience in coding or modeling and animation, I just picked it up from @Tom livestreams and the awesomeness that is @sdee. There is also an amazing community here that will help you on your way.

What programs do you use for editing the UI? (Art, Not programming)

Qubicle Constructor for making the models, and… pretty sure Blender can do the animation stuff. 2D artwork can be done with all sorts of software (eg Photoshop).

Paint.net because its free

Just a few quick things:

  1. Every time I make the first advanced footman they grab two swords and never a shield. In fact they have walked past the shield to get to the second sword. Is that intended?

  2. The armor won’t be placed in a stockpile if wood is deselected.

  3. Flour doesn’t get placed in stockpiles no matter the configuration.

Thank you for the feedback! I’ll investigate further but:

  1. Sword and Shield have the same item level, and therefore it’s completely random as to which they ‘select to equip’. I have had a number of run throughs that pick up the shield first. Pending feedback, I can lower the short sword item level.

  2. Interesting. The Iron armour is tagged as Iron, I do not know why this is happening. I’ll see if I can get to the bottom of it. It may be a game issues though, as it sometimes happens with some TR items too.

  3. This may have been broken in the last update. It definitely worked before. I’ll check it out and see what is the matter.
