Not sure if this is the same bug but i had a mason that just stud still till he starved to death.
i didnt see when it happened exactly because i didnt notice till i got a notification that he was starving, he was in a house and from the look of it he had gotten out of bed when he got stuck. i tried removing all furniture around him as well as unassigning him as a mason, and give him different orders.
That sounds different - could be a pathfinder issue, adjacency region issue, CPU-based AI issue.
