Lineal experience makes the game not very replayable

Hi all,
I’ve been playing on Hard difficulty for a while, the game is lineal, in every playthough I had were the exactly the same experience: similar management, similar encounters, similar events and the exactly the same quests. The only thing that could make a playthough unique is the building design.
I would like to see challenges to be spawned on the map, instead of been brought to me like a daily mission. For example, replace the daily invasion of those monster sets with randomly popup events that tell me I made the forest angry if I was cutting down trees, and then some trees turn into those little woodling to attack me; or if I was mining the mountain I may evoke the stoneling; or if I have sheeps then will attract the wolves more often; more raider camp spwaned if the net worth is high; undead starts raising if any hearthling fall yet been resurrected…

Off-topic, would like to see goblin-like creatures be able to build ladders. In case they spawned at a different height.
