No you haven’t, and “she” is a “he”, and an “old fart” at that. For me it’s hard to believe I have been out of the Army (USA) for longer than I was enlisted (14 years) and considering I joined the Army when I was 17 you can begin to piece together how old I am. I’ve been coding since I was 14 too, longer than most of you have been alive.
As for “Ram” cat, it comes from “ramdisk” used to boot old Macs in college. I copied the “ramdisk” on my own floppy and called it “ramcat” after my cat who would wake me by ramming his face into mine at 3 or 4 in the morning so I’d play. His name was Taflac. and he was killed by a neighbor who swerved to hit him. Sad, some peoples minimal regard for the sanctity of life. I thought the name was “cool” so I used it as my handle on the internet - back when everyone on the net used a name that was not their actual name.
