Is it possible to change the town name mid game?

awww noooo there is no way of changing the town name BUT you can change the save name? i’m sure in the game save files there’s a way to change the towns name but i never checked

Go to your stonehearth folder. There you will find the saved_games folder with one or more folders with a name like “1492543106478”. Those are your world save folders. In the save folder there should be a file called metadata.json. There you can change your town name.

Note: I have never done this myself. So be sure to make a backup of your world in case this breaks it!
