Hey there @C0LoS, can you please supply a bit more information about what is going on? What version of the game are you playing, what are your system specs (CPU, GPU, RAM, etc.). Do you have a large number of lights placed in the world?

to add to what @jomaxro said,

if you have lots of lights that will be the cause of the lag, as each light source gives off a particel effect, along with casting tons of shadows which can cause lag.

a workaround for this is to turn the “maximum number of lights” and “shadow detail” down/off.

Yea ill try turning down the maximum number of lights and turning off shadows. It could be the number of lights I have. Here is a basic picture of my village.

Sorry for the lack of information. These are the details of my pc:

CPU: Intel Core I5-6600K 3.5 GHZ 6MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1151
GPU: EVGA NVIDIA Superclocked GTX 960 2GB PCI-E
RAM: ADATA 4GB DDR4-2800 XPG Z1

Thanks for the help

Also, if you want to upload the save that had the huge drop in FPS to the thread linked below, @Ponder (and others) are working with big saves to fix performance related issues:

Turning shadow detail off and the number of lights down worked perfectly. Thanks for the help
