How to move or kill deer and ostrich

I have deer and ostrage in a place i want to build and i may just be over looking something simple but i cannot find out how to attack them.
any answers?

If you are playing with the north alliance, you can simple order the archer to go there, they will attack them. Or you can simple ignore it, they will not block your build, and will pretty much run away from any of your citizens

and if none of the above apply and you really, really want them gone, wit hthe debug tools on shift-leftclick them and hit destroy. bruno’s answer is best though.
