Hearthlings won't mine!

I designated an area to mine in a newly started map but my hearthlings won’t move away from the fire pit.

I had to do some tweaks like remove mining area, then designate a mining area a bit distance away from first one then continue mine to the actual wanted area.

I thought they can’t reach this location so I tried adding multiple Ladders but wew…

this has already been mentioned; see last post regarding it: Hearthlings won't mine

it mainly involves hearthlings AI trying to mine from invalid positions thus causing them to idle as an exception.
