I tried to record a video via obs but it doesn’t seem to want to work, if you’d like a video I can try figure it out for you.
Is the music one a known bug?

The “all musics” is not known and I’m not sure what your UI bug is. Did you try to destroy an object ?
Paging @moderators anyway

Welcome, @BeansOhBeans.

What was going in game when the UI crashed?
Were you clicking anywhere in the UI?

With the music you mean that there was several musics being played at the same time?
We have an ongoing bug about combat music playing even when no enemies are seen on the map.

The only thing that comes to mind is that you might be hearing a background music and a jingle effect, like the sleeping lullaby or the mourning music of the tombstones… =/

I wasn’t pressing anything when the UI crashed, other than parts of the UI (the combat one in this case).
Nothing was happening other than all the songs playing at once.

Yeah I mean that it plays the first couple of bars of each tune you’ve added, then skipping to the next one, but only in the day time! The game seems to have developed this as my town got larger, maybe it’s an engine issue?

hmm… thats just the combat music, but it sounds like its playing in an odd pattern.

edit: actually, it looks as though your hearthlings are continually passing within range, and then almost immediately out, of the goblin camp, thats what seems to be causing the music bug.

but if that actually is the case then the music part isnt really a bug…

edit 2: i guess i should watch the entire video before just assuming things… :flushed:

edit 3: after watching the video further,

just thought i should point this out encase you didnt already know. if your hearthlings pass within a certain distance of the goblins (or any enemy) the battle music will start playing, and once they pass out of that distance (or kill the enemy) the victory music plays.

it appears that your footmen is in a constant ai loop of trying to go eat but also trying to attack the goblins, thus my earlier assumption was correct, as your footmen is constantly out and in of the goblin camp range causing a really weird loop in the music.

you can see that around “4:15” in the vid the music stops looping strangely because your trapper entered, and stayed within, the range of the goblin camp.

i hope that all makes sense.

That makes sense, at least the devs know that it’s kind of a bug. It’s getting really annoying now xD

you could try putting your footmen into a party and then using an attack banner to move them back to your settlement, this will move them away from the goblin camp and should stop the music loop.

I started doing that a while ago, but every now and then I forget and they do the looping thing :stuck_out_tongue:
