My game crashes after playing for several hours. I have it saved and mulitple times it crashes within 1 min. This is my unique user ID: bee63ce5-6ead-11e4-b12b-6c626d23f7b6 and I can attach the saved game for further investigation.
What version (build) of the game are you using? r205? dev2176? Other?
I’ve just started my 37th game day and have 25 Hearthlings. I’m using the latest developer build [dev2176].
@BlockHeadTimo How the heck are you getting to 37 days?? My worlds won’t get past the 15th - 17th day without crashing, I thought it was pretty normal for everyone considering the posts about it.
I’m using the unstable developer build via Steam - at the time of this post dev2176 x64bit.
how do you use steam to download the dev version ? I use my verification code to activate the game on steam but there is no option to download dev version ? I would try this one because of the save bug on the 205 release
right click on stonehearth (in steam) - settings - beta - latest BUT savegames are not version compatible^^
Same version I’m using, still get up to about 18 people and boom, game just closes, what are your system specs? @BlockHeadTimo
Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600)
32 Gig installed RAM
Intel® Core™ i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60GHz (8 CPUs)
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Intel® Core™ i7-4820 CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70GHz
GeForce GTX 760 (2)
You’ve more memory, probably why you can go so long
I am using build r205.
My computer is:
Windows 7 Premium
24.0 GB installed RAM
Intel® Core™ i7 CPU x990 @3.47GHz 2.79 GHz
Graphics: GeForce GTX 550 Ti(1)
Same here. The game becomes extremely unstable the longer you play a game session. I can make it to day 25 or so and then the save process starts breaking down and deleting files - in addition to crashing every few minutes.
Win 7 pro, 64bit, 12gigs ram, AMD.
Humble Bundle version (can’t get the 64 bit Steam version to run)
I also have this problem. I get game-breaking crashes starting day 25. Makes me sad :’(
