hey there @Pringles, welcome to the discourse

was the template custom made by you, or one of the one of the “pre-made” ones?

What do you mean by “custom template”?

was it a building you made, and then saved as a template for later use.

Ah, yes it was, I made it before I had to go off and saved it and then used the blueprint and then it all happened.

alrighty, could you perhaps provide the template so i can test it out and see if its just a one time thing or perhaps a problem with the template?

if you’re playing through steam it should be located here,

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_objects\stonehearth\building_templates

should the original file be a notepad?

put the template (it should be a .json file) into a .zip, and then directly upload it to the discourse, you can do that by dragging and dropping or by using the upload button,

yep! and the files name should match what you named the blueprint in-game.

Sorry, I had problems with making a .zip file since I normally use winrar
shifting sands small house.zip (3.0 KB)

well i can confirm that the template gives an error and leaves only the doors/windows… i’ll check and see if for some reason its only your template, or if all custom templates bug out like that.

Alright thanks for all of your help

no problemo, thats why i stick around here.

i tested out a few different custom templates and they dont seem to be bugged…

and as far as i can tell your template is perfectly normal
