It happens every time the game cycles to day.
Steps to reproduce:
Play until after one night, and observe. It might not happen, I think it’s random.
Expected Results:
I thought it’d cycle to day regularly.
Actual Results:
The game cycled through day within around 7 seconds, and then the animations for my settlers froze, and they slid around the floor.
Notes:
It also becomes super laggy while cycling through day.
Versions and Mods:
No mods, and Alpha 1, r22.
