Dryad Model (WIP)

Hi there I’m Symbol again

some of you guys may remember me talking about the concept of a Dryad

i quickly downloaded StoneVox3D and mashed up a model for a Dryad

The outfit replaced the carpenters outfit so it would fit the dryad head model

it’s still a Work In Progress so it doesn’t look… natural
the head looks nice but the outfit… Mehh…(it use to be even worse)

i might upload the model when i consider it finished (witch is not right now)

Um… yeah!

Right now, it’s almost more of an elf. Not that anything’s wrong with that, but your original dryad design seemed smaller. Perhaps try to adjust the scale?

I do agree, she does look like a Elf

I would love to adjust the scale, but the problem is that i’m not a code… using type of person
i cand’t change the code to make the carpenter gets any smaller

i’ll second that… well done @Hyrule_Symbol! :+1:

why not make a very basic mod that makes very thing elvish. but yes great work cant wait to see you do next

I really like your model, and I think you did a great job!

I decided to play with the modding portion, with what little I know, and came up with this.

Standing next to Trapper’s knife and normal human.

that’s actually a good idea!
i might make something like that if i get the right idea for the looks of all of them!

It would perfectly fit the Dryad!
can you teach me how to do that?

and if you have the time, we could do sort of a collaboration mod!

i make the models and you code it?

Sure, I would love to help out. I am still learning, but will do what I can to make it happen.

Send me a PM with a Gmail account and we can use Google Docs to store the files and collaborate on everything.

Right now I am just applying a scale to the standard female model, so I should be able to do the same thing with your new Dryad model once I have a copy. Then I can adjust the mod with new models as you change them.

Great Work @Hyrule_Symbol , looks amazing

I am happy StoneVox is working out for you so far

Best of luck with your endeavours, I will be looking forward to following what you and @DaiMoGui will have in-store for us.

I wouldn’t even have a place to start with out the excellent post on modding that @honestabelink provided for the community. I still have a lot to learn, but it’s in that post, now I just need to really comprehend it all. Hopefully we will have something to show off in the near future.

i like the visual, i hope to see it getting better

After an issue with a town full of naked Stonehearthians, I finally made a little progress and got the Dryad’s clothing to load properly.

She was made a bit taller at the request of @Hyrule_Symbol, and now stands about as tall as the Trapper’s knife.

She is really cute
But didn’t she have green-ish hair before?

have you tried making her as a critter entity with human animations? they would hang around trees then

and you could edit there descriptions to be like guardians of the forest, etc etc

well honestabelink made my cute little kitties into critters and the trapper doesn’t catch them for w/e reason ( I have yet to see it anyway)

Wow, very nice… Do you plan on using it in a mod. Or maybe just for fun.

I’m loving that green hair. :stuck_out_tongue:
