Dragons and training prospects

I like the sub species especially the wyverns  ill think about it more and maybe add something i. The morning but it’s midnight so im gonna pass out now xD

I’m pretty sure that’s just Radiant’s way of saying ā€œthis won’t grow it into a useful petā€ - ie it stays a purely cosmetic pet  .

Makes sense i guess. Sadly i didn’t back it since i only got on KS this year. I have been following for over a year though

It’s been a while since i last looked in on stonehearth, so correct me if any of the plans have changed or if im just plain wrong.
But it was my understanding the trapper branch is planned to split into shepard and hunter.
Shepard having the ability to keep domestic livestock, sheep, cows etc.
Hunter being an upgraded version of the trapper, so can go after wolves/ wild boars etc.

and then the hunter can upgrade into the beastmaster (the trapper tree’s EPIC class so to speak, the equivalent to the blacksmith’s magmasmith).
And the beastmaster can hunt Big game (what ever that means), and maybe tame wild creatures to fight for him.

So as far as i can see taming working. it sounds like the idea may be.

trapper - can tame critters - rabbits, foxes, racoons - pets may only be cosmetic or give happiness boosts (DF)
hunter - can tame larger a ā€˜class’ of creature - wolves, wild boars, bears - generally medium sized beasts whcih could have some sort of combat/service role within your village (depending on the creature in question)
Beast Master - can tame ā€˜Big game’ or ā€˜Mythic’ class creatures - Elephants, rhinos, griffons, drakes etc. you name it the options are only limited by the devs/modders imagination - and againthese would have various combat/service roles withing your town/village.

As i said before, i’m not sure if this IS the plan, some of it i have heard on various live streams and other bits are my assumtions/hopes  . But i do hope we can get some kind of dragonkin to burn the goblin hoards to cinders.

As far as i’m aware your preconceptions are correct
