[Dev Blog] Desktop Tuesday, Introducing Stonehearth, Free to Play Edition!

I’ll be bitterly disappointed if we don’t have the “Free to Play” alternate plane.

Just a shot in the dark, but could this comical Desktop Tuesday post be more than just a joke? Could it be that the image provided, containing a building with a floor being constructed and stairs to travel between height levels, possibly imply that team Radiant are working on construction-related things?

If so, awesome.

If not, too bad.

Hmm, you know they could easily mock that up with qubicle  So I Doubt it  but Keep up the hope! It’s never a bad thing.

That is… well… I thought it was a screenshot of approximately minute 2:02 of this video.
But yes, maybe it’s a hint they’re working on building.
As far as I remember, the save feature is coming and soon we’ll get the farmer and new UI.

Oh, hell’s bells. What an idea  Actually, @sdee floated doing a ‘Facebook buyout’ for an alternate April Fools, along with a re-branding of the game: replace the entire sky with a bunch of Facebook feeds, put ‘like’ buttons on absolutely everything, make casual references to privacy invasions. Perhaps a bit too timely, though…

Did you want to antagonise the internet?

Because that’s how you antagonise the internet.

P.S. I love you is not just the title of an exceptional chick flick (I haven’t seen it, it’s probably awful).

How much are bribes to the moderators? You guys can’t be that expensive…

Well, is it possible to have the engine render HTML onto a texture that could be used in the game? For example, the sky (box)?

I absolutely do not plan to plaster the sky with odd websites whatsoever. Or have some sort of cinema thing. Or anything that you could abuse HTML canvases for, really!

if only you knew… I mean honestly… you think @Geoffers747’s “manni peddi days” come cheap?

So what? $1 dollar? $2 dollars?

I’m pretty sure it’s spelled “mani pedi” but whatever.
