Custom Armours and Weapons

To have that implemented would take time and also have the recipe list flooded, you would need ways to remove them all aswel, making a texture pack isn’t as hard as you think if you are able to make the textures yourself

This sounds like a GREAT mod idea…

Well, I’d need to buy quibicle so… eh. Might kick it under the rug, can’t upload to .qb with trial.

Are there no other programs?

there is StonVox, @honestabelink knows more about that.

StoneVox is free right? I’ll have to look into it and see if I can make a texture pack. I’ll try it later and see what it’s like. I am used to using UE5 so this may be child’s play xD

I’ll look into it, hopefully StoneVox can upload the Quibicle creation I made, if not I have to start over >.<

Can you open quibicle files with SV?

Don’t know, gonna look into it.

I have the trial of Quibicle. If it works can you let me know.
I’ll get StoneVox later.

Hi @JahWaaah and @Zhaldak,

StoneVox is a very capable voxel editor, and I working a new version that will really improve it

http://discourse.stonehearth.net/t/introducing-the-harpy/

The Harpy made by @Hyrule_Symbol was created using only community software (StoneVox for voxel modeling, Blender for animation)… really amazing…

Yes, currently this is done via drag and drop. Just drag the file you wish to open over the programs window and let go. StoneVox will handle the rest. StoneVox however only supports reading of .qb files, and writing of .qb and .obj. It will not open .qbcl or other Qubicle formats. SV is just a tool for StoneHearth, not for anything else.

Overall StoneVox is still in it’s infancy. Qubicle is very flushed out and very professional. If you are serious about voxel modeling it’s definitely worth the money.

Darnit, we have .qbcl files only… shakes fists Damn you Quibicle!! Might-aswell just re-do all my models on StoneVox.

No needs
StoneVox can import .qb files by dragging and dropping

you could be able to export a .obj file with StoneVox right away

But they can be some bugs so make sure if @honestabelink says it’ll be okay to do so

Awesome, I’ll get making some texture packs using the current OBJ.
@honestabelink is it okay to extract files straight from the game to rework? I’m sure it will load them in fine.

What are you referring to? The games models are not .obj, or any standard 3d model format. To retexture things you will be working with .qb’s. The .obj’s are just used for animation purposes… but for SV at least that will only be until it supports creating animations right in the editor  .

and yes, SV will load the .qb’s just fine…

I’ve seen others upload reworks of different items… you should be fine.

Best of luck
Glad to see another modder

Aha yes it would appear my brain is not functioning. I have Quibicle and StoneVox and I’ll be extracting from the game to rework. I opened a thread with my intentions and requests but am using my phone ATM so I can’t link it.

I have always wanted to be a modder and I think Stonehearth is where I want to start. I’ve long enjoyed countless hours working with UE4 so I plan to release many mods and work with others to release outstanding work

I would want to be a modder too, if I could code.

Just need to team up with people

Yepperie, it’s hard to be a one man stand…
