I think the EU4 map is a great example of a nation map.

Or even this map I found. Players could click a button and see a nation/faction overlay.

Funnily enough, yesterday I saw a spider, within 30 seconds of seeing it, I had crushed it just because.
Maybe the Crabmen could have different castes? Like a warrior and a worker caste. A bit similar to ants.
Donât forget a wizard caste. They could be a sort of hivemind, like bees and ants.
But letâs not get off topic here.
Should there be a class making the map so you have to get one making a map before you can actually use it?
Of course, maybe the maps could show if somewhere is undersiege/surrounded by UPP- I mean goblins.
Yes, a cartographer class of sorts.
Or maybe we could just let the Stonehearth Gamemaster generate such things
If that were the case would the GM feature make fancy icons on the map?
Edit Of course you would have to be carful the GM might now like making underground versions of the same map.
Yes, cute little elf goblin heads located around your city.
Yeah, sort of like the Underdark in D&D.
Yeah. Dedicating an entire person to only do maps would be a bit to much a think. It would make it a sort of mid game thing. Maybe you could find them in those new goblin camps and if you do not sack them you can buy them of a trader?
Yes, thatâs a good point. Like if you open a goblin chest you could find artifacts such as:
Large Wooden Chest
GrĂłrâs Axe
Orb of Wind and Waves
Map of North Windermere
I feel like some sort of terroristâŚIt feels goodâŚ
You shouldnât this is a perfectly legit thread.
Donât forget âthe Horn of callingâ (everybody always do. )

[/quote]Precisely. Nothing suspect about it.
Yes, a classic artifact in roleplay games of every kind.
You wouldnât need to repeat it if it wasnât a legit threadâŚ
So about the caster class of the âcrab peopleâ, I think we should name the Karkinos⌠Also, the caste should be called the Magi.
Or maybe Cancer, after the giant crab?
Idk, this is a pretty cool concept though.
Iâm excited, maybe the devs will put it in the game!
I feel like you should invite @Newf into the planning discussions when these things invadeâŚto stop misunderstandings of course.
That would be hilarious.
So, we seem to have pretty much discussed the concept of maps to completion.
So why donât we discuss concepts for possible in-game factions? The possibilities are endless.
What kinds of effects would the horn of calling and the orb of winds and waves have?
