Simple suggestion but could make the game cooler.
Basically be able to select a color when crafting certain things like chairs and lanterns and beds and carpets and banners and other things.
the colors would be simple and come in the roygbiv color scheme. perhaps even coming with some different patterns say for the carpets and banners.
