As Title, my trapper simply does nothing. I Tried changing earthling but all of them place traps then idle… forever. I Tried changing spots of trapping area, but them still don’t do anything. Of course, animals are trapped.
hmm but the other specialists (carpenter, farmer, etc) are doing their job?
could you zip/rar and upload your savegame I’d like to test that
and what’s your system spec (OS, CPU, RAM, GPU)? ^^
All other specialists work fine.
Where can i find the savegames?
Os: Win7 ultimate
CPU : intel Core i3 2100
Ram: 8GB
About GPU, since i don’t have good knowledge of Pc components, can you explain what do you mean? ^^
with GPU I mean your graphics card or graphic chip (Nvidia, ATI, Intel,…)
if you installed the game in your default (Steam ?) directory you can find the savegame at
Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_games
the best way to find your savegame in there is to start the game and save it as “New Save” again
this way you get a new folder for the latest savegame which you can then zip/rar and upload
Welcome to the forum, @Kafeth
Does the trapper have anything on his backpack?
Normally it takes a while for him to do a round of trapping, but if after an in-game day it isn’t changing the traps, something is wrong with the AI.
I have the same issue in one of my games. His backpack is totally empty and he’ll do anything except his job that a trapper would normally do other than trap (eat, sleep, etc.) I’ve wiped a trapping area and given a new person the knife and set up a new area after he had been promoted but the new guy still just set all the traps and idled after. It’s definitely an AI malfunction. Can it be fixed by simple means or will it have to be touched on with the next update?
Side note, it seems to only happen after the 18-20 day mark or if I have a lot of buildings.
I wonder if that’s the pathfinder taking “longer” to find correct routes for other activities to be done, I have sometimes sorted this out by pausing the game and allowing it to process the needed information.
