BUG 223 x64 Assertion Failed

Everything was going along fine, had 14 Hearthlings, defeaded the goblins, was working in cave dwelling, had carpenter’s menu open, Trader showed up, was looking through the trader’s menu on the sell tab and this error just popped up out of the blue:

I could not use Steam’s F-12 for a screen shot, nothing would function, had to use print screen/paint to get error

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Alienware R4
Intel® Core™ i7-4820 CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70GHz

GeForce GTX 760 (2)

Happened again this morning, was having the Hearthlings harvest some silkweed (blow the area in screenshot), a merchant showed up, was browsing his wares and DING! (windows error sound) I had a hard time getting that error to the forefront to capture it, shows up under the game window, again can’t use Steam’s F-12 or anything else, have to force windows to close the window.

Let me know if you need any other information.

Ran into the same issue. Everything running fine then went to check my weaver and crash.

Dell Precision M4800
Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Intel Core i7-4800MQ @2.7GHz
16BG RAM
NVIDIA Quadro K1100M

Same kind of crash. It happened when I was just moving some fences. Nobody was mining or building houses.

Hi guys,

I can’t seem to find this crash in our crash-dump database. If you see it again, could you attach your stonehearth.log in this thread?

Thanks!!

I’ve just been playing a world and seeing this issue, For me this was due to too much Memory being used, Using 3.5GB for some reason is the limit.

Happened about 20 times in a row if that helps anyone here.

must finish world, This crash error won’t stop me working with just 100 MB’s

Are you sure you have enabled x64 mode in the settings? If you’re in 32 bit mode, that would explain why you can’t address more than 3.5 gigs.

Yeah, 100% in x64 mode, It’s works amazingly till it hits 3.5GB then gives that message and crashes. Am I the only one with 3.5GB limit? If I am something must have gone weird on my pc :stuck_out_tongue:

And your PC is running a 64 bit OS and you HAVE more than 4gb of Ram, right?

Correct, 8 GB of Ram and 64 bit OS

Can you attach a copy of your stonehearth.log here, please? Thanks!

Just happened again, was mapping out and area to dig here’s the error and log:

Again, had 12 Hearthlings, no buildings just cave cutouts to live in, Please let me know what else I can give you for this error, otherwise this update is fairly stable for me, large mining areas still cause minor stutters, but having a good time so far.
