Well i know theres already a mod for better stockpiles its mainly the crafting
Its not a big issue but i think that (for example) if you wanna make a comfort bed and dont have the stuff it will queue it in the line, if you need more fabric it will queue all the stuff needed to make it
but for stockpiles there should be a simple and complex GUI and on the bottom you can select to switch between the to
simple as in what we have now and complex as in
Cooked meat
Raw meat
Wood
Stone
Iron
Copper
that kind of stuff
