Good games similar to Stonehearth (none of the first 5 offer multiplayer I don’t believe):
Timber & Stone
Dwarf Fortress
Gnomoria
Towns
Castle Story
And, in my opinion, Settlers II (Gold Anniversary edition). This game is fantastic, ranking in at 2nd favourite game of all time for me. And multiplayer should be really fun too, though I’ve never got to try it.
1st place goes to Civ (3/4/5 I enjoyed them all, but I’m collectively classing them as one game for the sake of an interesting list). This is awesome single and multiplayer.
I’m sure you will know of Minecraft.
Monaco is unbelievably fun multiplayer, and single player’s somehow even better, giving a really tense edge to the game and does a great job in making me feel as though I’m the one actually stealing.
Binding of Isaac isn’t multiplayer, but it sure as hell is amazing.
I’m going to apologise for not so much following your guidelines, but I haven’t played a wealth of games. This probably doesn’t cover a quarter of the games I’ve owned and played, but it’s probably close to it. So I’ll recommend what I can.
Hi guys… as much as i love this game i have been playing other games while they get rid of some more bugs (sorry radiant stuck_out_tongue )
But what games are a lot like this?
I currently have Gnomoria Dungeon keeper, Banished, Timber and Stone, Planet Explorers, Terraria, Craft The World, Stranded Deep, Lantern Forge
are there any other similar games out there that i could play
my Spec:
Asus M11AD Mobo
i5 quad
8 gb ram
radeon r7 240
windows 8.1 x64
the games listed above i have played till my fingers bled smiley looking for something fresh
game requirements:
has to be not specifically similar to this/gnomoria/Timber and stone/banished… does not have to be voxel
needs to have strong survival/ craft the world elements, possibly mixed with RPG type (level up your crafters etc)
i do not want anything like dwarf fortress!!!
needs to be intuitve UI or as much as possible stable (or almost)/ meet my pc requirements (please note i only have a 360W PSU)

Looks like you really have some of the best out there in new development right now especially Timber and Stone which I consider pretty well done even very early on in it’s development as well as very similar to Stonehearth (but not as good looking!)
Not sure if you like a more sci-fi / Firefly vibe to a colony game but RimWorld is an amazing game being indie developed by a 1-man team. It’s a top-down view game which for me is a little easier to handle than an isometric view like Gnomoria. It takes a really good game for me to look at those types but one watch of Cohh Carnage playing a beginner’s guide on Youtube had me hooked on RimWorld and I’ve been playing it like crazy. I think if you like Gnomoria you’ll love RimWorld! It’s set to release on Steam soon as well.
PS: It’s not a voxel-based builder though if that’s a requirement. It’s so fun you don’t miss voxels.
hahaha cohh was the guy who forced me to play R-R after watching his videos :D… shame i have already listed 99% of the games i am actually after QQ :’(
Wow, i thought the devs gave up on that ??? i played a year ago, and the content was… ohhh a dessert… ohhh a village… ohhh some junk… ohhh a bugged samuri army or are we thinking of different games here?
Ah so you’re already playing RimWorld? It’s a keeper, I love it. I’m just such a sucker for 3D though - and this game is really appealing to my 5yr old son too which I posted a long thread about - it’s a new way to play block-building for both of us so I love this one but for much different reasons. RimWorld is harder, has a lot of dark humor and a complicated strategy system though nothing on the level of Gnomoria and Grandfather Dwarf Fortress haha.
