I’m playing on release 784, which I think is the latest, and wanted to mention an issue the new Appeal system is creating.
Before, we would get a standard item and superior item when a superior item was crafted, but now we only get the fancy item. When you let auto-queue build your items, the item quality is already set in the building, and the game won’t allow you to substitute if you get the fancy item instead, so you have to re-craft until you get an item of standard quality. This means that the auto-queue function doesn’t completely prep you to build the building, and if you are using scarce resources you have to duplicate the construction, which is costly.
Ideally we would either get the second item like we used to, or the building process would need to accept the fancy item.
