It’s a good idea for there to be some kind of ocean things. Also, I’m pretty sure that the ocean does not have a gender. Just putting that out there.

I like the idea about this… but it would be cool if the “ambient AI” that was spoken of recently would include things like this, e.g. the townspeople (or whatever they’re called) would go fishing from a dock or go play in the water or something. Unfortunately, it seems like having things like aquatic civilizations (and for that matter specific types of civilizations) might make this a bit tricky…
