So is there a reason why you can not sell fine objects made by your workers?
It’s not implemented yet. There’s still a number of items that haven’t been added to the “sellable” list in the game, hopefully to be added soon.
If you want its not difficult to add this manualy you must only add this in the entities
I really think that’s where we as the community comes in. Sure, we’re here for alpha-testing, bug smashing, and all the great brainstorming that builds upon the dev team’s initial vision for their creation. BUT, as their deadlines slip we have to show our support, first and foremost. Yes, it can be very frustrating and concerning to see their deadlines slip, but a deadline is simply a personal goal, and goals are meant to be challenging to meet. The folks of Radiant are pushing themselves, and our job has to be that we stand behind them in support. Of course there is a looooong way to go. That is only a testament to just how much sheer potential this game has. The dev team may fail to meet certain deadlines, but for perspective; you don’t become a failure because you’ve failed at individual things, you become a failure once you quit striving for the big picture.
@SteveAdamo i know that this isn’t the right place for this, even though it will be, i was wondering what exactly are we getting in alpha 10 are we getting multi story buildings and zombies or skeletons or just one of those or something i haven’t mentioned. Also i have to catch up with the streams so it might of been mentioned there
I don’t believe @Tom has provided specific details on what will roll out with A10, but we’ve heard many of the things you suggested …
we’ve seen the new building UI (and a new UI in general), new mobs, water, and most recently a new class… any, all … or none could end up in A10…
From what I remember: the new building UI will, the new UI will, water will, the new mobs might, but the cook won’t and the dwarves won’t be playable for a long time.
Speaking of building ui, weren’t there some new building mechanics to go with it? Like multi-storey support?
yes indeed! if you look at the new building UI, that’s precisely what it was redesigned to accommodate…
Is there anywhere I can get more building templates from?
sadly no. however you can design your own custom buildings, plus i think some people have tossed some of their custom build templates here on the discourse.
Is there any way to drag and select my citizens? Because its a serious pain watching them run over to the goblin village one by one getting killed
no such luck mate
hopefully we will get some such control of them eventually.
I really hope so, its generally the main reason behind quitting what would be a fun settlement
I think a nice way around this would a “Do not enter” zone tool.
We’re looking into this but as an interim solution, if you want them to stay out of the way until your guys can knock the camp over, you can put them in a defensive party and hit the town defense button. Do you know what they’re looking for in the goblin camp?
I wouldn’t take to worrying just yet. I’ve been watching this since the Kickstarter first launched, and lurking for a good while. The Devs/mods keep in good touch with the community as a whole, and that is a huge thing. I’d start to worry if we never got our weekly streams, or went a year without an update. I’m also with you on pulling hard for them to succeed and see this get finished. I’m also pretty impressed with the community here as well. I’ve seen some be really hard on devs for not getting things out in their timeframe.
Keep the faith Brothers and Sisters!
When my guys do it, it’s someone’s tool or a resource they feel like they have to pick up. Sometimes they also ignore the defense/attack order, and do whatever they feel like doing. I haven’t tried this since 10 dropped, however.
yea its either that or a soldier chases a looter back to camp to get murdered by the boss
Exactly. Maybe we could just set a patrol area, and if something goes too far away from the assigned patrol area, they stop following? I mean, I’d hope the little soldiers are smart enough to go on suicide missions.
