Hi DaniAngione, I’m having some errors but its nothing game breaking.
My town isn’t getting Daily Updates (Where I can recruit more townspeople) and when I mouse over the weather, it doesn’t tell me what the daily weather effects are. The recipe queue button is also overlayed by the current season icon. Here’s the only error I have:
release-949 (x64)[M]

If I get anything else I’ll be sure to post. Thanks for all your hard work on this mod.
I don’t see how that error can happen without either your ACE mod being corrupted or some other mod overriding certain ACE lua features, especially since no one else has reported this and none of the relevant code has been changed in a while.
Any ideas on why workers randomly drop items on the ground when hauling? My entire world is littered with items that workers were previously carrying, then decided to drop on the ground. It even makes building more difficult. Especially when random decorations like a planter are miles away and a hearthling needs to go pick it up and bring it back.
Not to mention, workers also end up targeting full storage containers and quick crafting containers, and then end up placing the items on the floor in front of them.
Has anyone else noticed this behavior? I’m pretty sure I’ve been aware of it since 2017 at least
Considering that you’ve had this exchange with the main ACE programmer and is being made aware of this fact by the ACE project lead, I think it’s safe to assume that the answer is “Yes”
But yeah, ideally - if you’re in our Discord - make a thread for this issue in the “bug reports” channel, we will better keep track of it there! Otherwise, when reporting issues here, make a new thread (like Paul suggested) or report them directly to the current release thread (should be near the top as well, the one called “Mercantile update”); this thread here is mostly about the project itself
Yeah it was unfortunate how Stonehearth finished. But the ACE team have made huge improvements in the game. Many features that were not in the base game. From progression, to new mechanics, new items. Looking forward to new features.
Hello, I seem to be missing something… I downloaded the latest ACE - the Mercantile version, and the github zip. I can’t seem to find any file to start the game…
I have a couple of issues with Hearthbud and Hearth Essence. My planters are no longer creating essence, and I cannot sell hearthbud, nor hearthbud flakes, so my inventory is overflowing … am I doing something wrong?
Since I’ve always lived in a cave, I’ve never found it so difficult to fill a whole house with furniture, so I’ve only put 1/4 of it now. But he was really playful, and the building was beautifully designed, and he wanted to see other people’s work.
