Stone and Clay Multi Catagoried

Summary:
Noticed today that stone and clay are also labeled as materials made of earth, thus causing them to be mis-sorted.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Harvest stone.
  2. Harvest clay.
  3. Sort them separately.

Expected Results:
Materials go in expected piles.

Actual Results:

Notes:

This is why I say that they’re multi-categorized. The clay and stone is being placed in the correct piles, even with the earthly materials unselected.

Version Number and Mods in use:
Develop-2860 (x64)

Summary: I know it makes sense, but I think processed materials should only show up under the Materials made of earth. Because, for the longest time, I had a storage area of clay, filled with stone and clay bricks, but there were still mounds of clay, that I didn’t want in there.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Mine clay
  2. Set storage area to materials of earth
  3. Notice that mounds of clay goes there

Expected Results: Only ‘materials’ made should go there, not things that were mined, I mean… there’s a tab for clay itself.

Actual Results: Clay goes into the Materials of earth storage area

It’s back in Release 537.

Yes it is, well sorta. It seems clay is multi-categorized, but stone isn’t. Check out this report:
