When using certain mods; crafting crashes

Summary:
everything was working fine for at least a few days. no issues then suddenly, when i start a new game, and create a crafter, crafting can not be started. i get the following error;

(1) Try using the r909 unstable beta version.
(2) Disable your mods that add recipes until you find the one that’s causing the problem.

The error is from the smart crafter mod. Make sure you’re using a compatible version.
