Water mechanics, Halp! lol

So I am completely lost on the water mechanics in this game. I am trying to move water from one level to another level and it seems to fail each time.

Please help, what am I missing in this?

where did all the water go.

@Simica_Na I believe your mistake was having the opening above the water level which allowed all that excess water to overflow your pond/hole and it just spilled out; So think of it like real world water and not minecraft water if thats what you’re used to lol

yah maybe I am just use to minecraft in that aaspect. I will have to try that out. and see if that works. thank you again!
