Updating with the Steam

I’m long to test new update version, but there are some troubles with it. So, my game isn’t updating. Who faced with such problem? What I shell do?

P.S. I tried to reistal Stonehearth and Steam,but it doesn’t work.

are you trying to opt into the A16 “latest” branch? if so, refer to the “about latest branch” section of this page,

if you’re not trying to update to A16, and it’s just that your game isn’t updating at all then please say so.

1 - Uninstall StoneHearth from Steam GUI
2 - Uninstall Steam
3 - Delete manually this folders :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth (64 bits OS)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam (64 bits OS)

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth (32 bits OS)
C:\Program Files\Steam (32 bits OS)
4 - Install Steam (mouse right click onto the exe file “install as administrator rights”)
5 - Install StoneHearth from Steam GUI

Best way to install StoneHearth with Steam or some other games :

  • Install in another folder than default folder to avoid some problem :slight_smile:
    Example put it under C:\Games\StoneHearth or if you have another drive D:\Games\StoneHearth

(Steam Installer maybe mistake since Microsoft put UAC, Data Execution Prevention, NTFS rigths but i think it’s not StoneHearth fault.They make it playable every where you can even copy and paste the folder in another directory and launch it.Or maybe your virus protected software .)
