Does it just happen with 64 bit or 32 as well?
Mind pasting your system specs?
Do you run any network optimisation software such as ROG Game First? If so disable it.

Might be worth uploading your stonehearth.log file so we can look for clues. It sounded a lot like the network buffering spam issue I had a while back but it might not be.
.json or the text document? Sorry for that but I am not abble to add attachments

I’m also getting bad lag spikes every few seconds. It seems to be caused by lua. even with all settings on minimum it occurs. running an Intel I7 950 and ATI HD5870 with 6 gigs ram, win7 64 bit and 64bit stonehearth.
I tried everything now and its the same … I got lags of my hearthlings.
I can confirm this happening to me too:
My system specs are:
Phenon II x4 945
4 GB RAM DDR2
Radeon R7 260X
Win 7.1 64 Bit.
Also i’ve to say this doesnt happen at the very start, it happen since day 8 or 9 (in game days)
I also tried to change every setting without efefct
+1 here 64bit client r256. As the village increases in size/complexity the jumps/stutters increase in frequency until it’s unplayable.
I’m on a fairly ancient machine
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional
x64-based PC
Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q9400 @ 2.66GHz, 2667 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB
Page File Space 7.87 GB
AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
I stopped the 64bit version from running (renamed the folder so it wasn’t named as expected by the game). That triggered the 32bit version to launch via steam.
It’s a little anecdotal as my new town is still very small but it seems much smoother then the 64bit client. I couldn’t get one of the 64bit bigger games to load though would just crash the client every time. I’m also finding the 32 bit client less stable than the 64.
Might be just my antique machine causing those secondary issues, but might be helpful if someone else could check it out
yes my too i have a top pc. with 8g memory etc…
when i reach 19-20 Stony, i lag…
it lag a max when i delete a stockpit.
i have a bug to with this lag… i can create 2 stockpit on the same space. .
i delete one, the first popup up and i cant delete it too.
The lag is only on lua etc… but not on the camera or the view. (i can move it)
Was doing some research and found out that some players were also dealing with this issue but has not yet been resolved. Everything was running perfectly fine until after Day 18-20 or just after expanding and/or having more buildings, crops, etc.
Original Thread I found was here:
