i forgot to mention, its firefox latest (31.0) with extensions: adblock plus and NOscript
well, as the discourse is so javascript heavy, perhaps this is part of the issue?
i managed to fix it, with a complete uninstall and reinstall of firefox LOL fuuuuu…
