I had a wipe the other day and I was thinking, wouldn’t it be grand if I could restart on the same map, except with a different starting position and my original town structures intact (but empty of placed items (so just the structures)) and some high level undead occupying the remains of my first town (and maybe some sort of loot to be won after having cleared them out.)

As far as I remember, something like this (ruins from previous plays) was suggested early in developement and Tom called it a realy nice idea … I like it too
