i have tried redownloading it and repairing it but it just givesme alpha 6 how do i update it?

are you running the Steam client? or are you accessing the game from Humble Bundle?

you cant purchase on Steam, but the client can be delivered via Steam… and the latest “unstable” builds are only accessible there… :wink:
