I played the game on my laptop last 3 years ago until September 2021, and it went fine. No problems, even with mods. When I upgraded into a desktop, Stonehearth was one of the games I installed first. When the installation was finished, I couldn’t play it, even when I press Play on Steam. It just says Preparing to launch Stonehearth for a few seconds, then nothing.
What are the specs of the desktop

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-11700 @ 2.50GHz (16 CPUs)
Memory: 16384 MB RAM
GPU: NVidia GeForce RTX 3070
Delete the x64 folder from where the game is installeren
That has helped in many cases with the same or simila problems
