Freeze then Crash

Summary:
My Game will freeze for some time then it will crash. I’ve been checking different forums and discussion and it helped so far with start up crashes but I get about 30-60 minutes into the game and the freezing in resulting to crashing and closing happens.

I played it again afterwards and had UI problems but the second run has had the longest up time. I think 2hr 30 mins. But on an average I get maybe 30 mins before freezing.

Are you running the game with windows compatibility mode active?

No the box isn’t checked. I turned it off.

Hmmm your log ends with an error that has showed up a few times before from what I can see, but the only case that got solved had windows compatibility toggled as the problem… The log itself doesn’t show anything else bad, the mods you have are all ok, you are running it on x64 which is good…

If you could crash again and this time upload the crash dump file, that could be helpful, I suppose

Also, is there anything to say about the circumstances of the crash? Does it happen on a specific moment? Is the freezing constant? If you start a new game and don’t do much, just pass time, does it happen? Or it only happens on an already developed save? These things could be useful to know.

I’ve been copying each error that pops up in game. I have quite a bit of bugs no particular time in crashes now. I do leave everything as you guys recommended. x64, unchecked or not forced compatibility. Sometimes it will freeze and continue. Other times it freezes and crashes with no reports. Its typically been after I try to load in a save or after 20-30 mins play time (real life time.)
After I copied the first crash log reports this morning I ran it back again and it lasted the entire time for once.

But I do notice I get bugs in game like Weaver isn’t crafting something but has all the materials or certain things aren’t being made. But when the game does crash I usually get a good freeze then crash. How would I find the crash dump file to send to you? (I think I’m asking for location.)

I appreciate all the help and I hope I’m not a bother. I haven’t been able to play the game this long with out your help. Been playing since 2018 so I really do appreciate all the help.

the crash.dmp is created on the game folder, the same one where you got the log from!

No, but it should be there… your game is not generating a crash report

I don’t I’ve ever seen that file come up for me in the past few years. The game just freezes then exits out of the game.

I don’t know what to say other than perhaps trying to reinstall the game or repair files on Steam, it could be a corrupted file :glum: But the log alone doesn’t really give us much other than an error that was associated with compatibility mode before, however it could also perhaps be a faulty file
