Engine error after placing roof in build mode results in building unable to be built

Title: engine error after placing roof in build mode results in building unable to be built

Summary: building a new building, i placed the roof and an engine error poped up, i can finish building, click to build, hearthlings do not build, when i reselect building in build mode i see option to Finish building, can repeat loop of finish-> build-> reselect-> finish

Steps to reproduce:

  1. start building a building
  2. place stone floor
  3. place stone walls with wood columns
  4. place door and windows
  5. place stone roof
  6. finish building
  7. click build building
  8. reselect building
  9. repeat steps 6-8 forever

Expected Results: no error screen, building gets built

Actual Results: error screen, repeat building steps, never gets built

Notes: have not tried to reproduce yet on a different building

when i reload the game from save i get the following error

i can finish the building and when i reselect it, it doesnt give me the finished option but still does not build
