but the most important questions is when will be the stable 9 release ^^ there are some lets player they want it (and the german translation - so that we can increase the german follower) xD
fear notā¦ I think most folks will be more than happy to see a āfirst passā at water that includes transparent, light blue cubes that have no actual properties of waterā¦

Agreed. It doesnāt have to flow or anything right off the bat. First you have a static āpondā. Then you give us buckets. Then, we can fill up our own area.
Thing is, you can incorporate a static pond right off the bat and just have town folk get buckets of water for a new āthirstā mechanic or for watering crops. You can totally get by with static water for quite awhile.
After saying all that, I do see pit-falls though. Should you mine out the side of a static pond, well it would get weird if it didnāt flow outā¦ or at least go down in level and disappear.
