Yes, and also archers can simultaneously hit each other. Wouldn’t want to lose an arrow hit just because my archer got cut down by a swordsman after he let the arrow fly.
Edit: If you calculate arrow success on launch, and animate the arrow accordingly, then the launcher can die or otherwise be disabled (stunned, knocked down, swallowed whole, etc…) with no effect on the arrow as it’s fate was calculated the moment it was shot.
