Whenever I save the game, between the day and time I always see the words of Deepmun and 1000. So, here’s my theory on what that is. I believe Deepmun might be a placeholder for the season (Day 53 of Fall) and the number 1000 would be a placeholder for the year, either of the world o’ Stonehearth or of how long the settlement’s been around. So a full example would either be Day 12 of Spring, in the year of 1492 OR Day 42 of fall, during the 1st year the town of Threed. I dunno, that’s just my guess. Oh and by the way, catch any references?
yes deepmun is indeed the first month in the stonehearth universe, in fact each month has its own name that relates to its season, i dont know them all though. they all end with “mun”
Your not far off… but its a month in stonehearth actually (seasons arent implented yet) i believe deepmun is december (but since seasons arent in yet it doesnt make any difference at all)
Most games like this start off in december… i know banished does (to give you time to plant and get ready for spring obviously)

hearthling new year is officially in February then
Well, it’s the new game that starts in February, but that doesn’t have to mean it’s the start of the year as well, does it?
true, it could be that it took a whole month for them to travel to and reach the place you settle…
But is it said anywhere that they take off at the exact start of a year?
why must you be so difficult …
That’s my middle name Phagodifficultcytosis.
Whoa, jeez. I knew Stonehearth wanted to be creative (replacing generic animals like cows with yaks) but, renaming all the months? That is some serious lore devotion. Thanks for answering the whole Deepmun situation, anyway. But what about that number? You know, how they have the number 1000 after the word Deepmun?
its the year its starts with 1000 xD
i think thats the year,

[/quote]they have a lot more lore then just months
Well, then I can be excited, as well as expecting a plentiful amount of this lore to come out of the interactive map features (like ruins) they mentioned on the Trello board.
@sdee Has written a lot of lore for the game, so it shall be super amazing! She is being selfish though and wont share!
List probably starts with index 0, like all good programming lists. Whoever set the default month set it to “1” instead of “0”.
