DebugTools on Github

yay debug tools!!!

Unfortunately I have to join @Froggy and @voxel_pirate with the no working dropper tool.
The event manager and the AI checker work.
The blue ‘lego-brick’ works too. It gives some info about the selected object, but gives all kinds of errors when you click on those links in the pop-up.

So… the dropper works for @Relyss, but nobody else? Very weird! Time to diagnose the differences: interference from other mods, graphics card, etc?

I can use the other tools just fine, and Wiese can also use them, not only me.

Edit: Well, I just figured out one main difference. I’m still on r375. I still have to update to 393 (facepalm)…

Do not have any mods installed. Tried with zipped (smod) and unzipped Stonehearth-folder.

My PC(s) are rather unusual, as I am using a Surface 2 Pro (i5-4300U CPU, HD Gfx, 8GB RAM, Windows 8.1 Pro). The second one is a ThinkPad which also uses some kind of on-board solution (need to check details next week).

Edit: Using a normal mouse and a wireless keyboard.

Edit: Tried to re-install the tools. Also started the game new as normal and peaceful game. Still not working.

Edit: Started the game in administrator- and compatibility-mode (Windows 7). Not working.

ok Found the problem.

There was still -master behind the debugtools-file

So renaming debugtools-master to debugtools solved the problem

Yes, changing the name of the folder to “debugtools” only solves the problem for me, too (@sdee).

:frowning: And there I was, assuming that you installed it right (since you’re from the modders group…)
Well, I’m really happy that you solved it, let’s the fun begin

@Froggy, check it too! You have no excuse since you have used GitHub before! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

WHAT? I did install it right… the folder was just uploaded with a “wrong” naming . Coming back after a while I am a perfect laboratory mice to check for this kind of errors.

No, it wasn’t wrong naming. It’s a default thing of Git-hub, the main branch always appends “-master”. But I think there was a way to download without having to rename… :confounded: or maybe I’m mistaking it with another kind of repo…

I blame the rust being piled up since I last modded :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Ähmmm in the Information was the hint for this :stuck_out_tongue:

Hm, might be the age, but I cannot remember that I saw something like explaining information on that subject. Link?

Hello, just posting wonderng how exactly do I make this work? I copied the files into my main folder and when I type the command call_citizen, it tells me that its invalid.

you must copy them in the modfolder not the mainfolder ^^ and the command has nothing todo with the debugtools

what you mean is the commandbar which you can open via ö or ~ ^^ tip there help and you will see some commands but the most doesnt work at the moment

i know only from destroy, instant build, add exp, add gold ^^

anyway possible to add the ability that the grow command can be used on an entire patch of farm land instead of having to select each plant seperatly

I DL the Debugtools and got it working but when trying to use the “Stamper” tool the items are ignored by the Hearthlings, have worker Hearthlings standing around with nothing to do and they still ignore any item placed, am I using it wrong?
