i was building a stair and balcony as a seperate building at the side of an existing building. after this had been completed without any issues i started placing wall mounted lanterns.
this caused my hearthlings to build scaffolding around every wall of the house and once it has been build it won’t be torn down again. also my 2nd lantern “disappeared” and the 1st one won’t be placed. no ladder for it’s placement gets built either.
no error message popped up.

i dont think it’s the same bug. because my building was already finished and scaffolding was torn down completly, they built the scaffolding again after i tried to place those 2 lanterns. also your lanters have been placed correctly.
your test building could use a ladder, then it will be built.
Well my building only has one problem, which is that my people dont remove the scaffolding. I made some room in the back that is 2(length)x3(height). Im not sure if they cant reach it or if its just a bug with the building blocks.

I’m not sure why you have ladders that go through the roof. Did you make the roof with slabs? It doesn’t look like a hearthling can fit in the building…
